A few months ago, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob sent me to Plano, Texas as a witness to a meeting between Doyle Davidson and his wife Lisa. I have posted on my testimonies page, a brief account of those two meetings. The events of that weekend, both Friday and Saturday night are very significant not only for those of us who were there, but also for the whole body of Christ and it was a great honor on my life that God would send me.
Once again God has sent me to Plano, as his witness and it is to record for the world the things that have been revealed to me about Doyle Davidson, the ministry God gave him and what I've witnessed the power of God perform through a servant that he raised up to speak to his people. I started listening to Doyle in 1993. One of the first things I noticed was he didn't ask for money; he simply said, "Obey God with your money. I don't need your money, God supplies my needs". The first time I met Doyle was in Tulsa, Oklahoma at a Body of Christ meeting. My husband, my son Richard and I drove there from Colorado. My husband had a heart attack that spring and Doyle knew this. When the meeting was over we went up to meet him and he told my husband to get in that bible and read it, day and night. I will never forget, the Spirit of God in him fastened his eyes on us and he said, " This is NOT a game!"
I came to Plano the first time in June 2006. I spent one week with Doyle at his house and as he has said, we had many conversations at the kitchen table in the mornings, having coffee and orange juice. As he would share things, I watched the power of God minister to him and he would overcome. At the time I had no understanding of what I was seeing, I just knew it was God. Since then I have spent a great deal of time in Plano at Water of Life Church. It will be two years this month since that first trip. There are two things that I believe I know about this man, Doyle Davidson: 1) he is a servant of God, seeking only the will of God in everything and 2) he loves his wife Lisa and its a love that only God could demonstrate. It is a demonstration of the love that God has for his people, the love that Jesus Christ has for his bride. I am not exalting a man because its not him, it's Jesus in him. I am telling you what I have witnessed and what I believe the Spirit of God would have me share .
I thank God for the opportunity to write these things and as the Spirit of God directs I will add to this account.
